HYDERABAD: Representatives of Old Age, Widow and Physically Challenged Pensioners' Association on Monday met Hyderabad collector Syed Ali Murtuza Rizvi during the 'Mee Kosam' programme organised here and requested him not to link their pensions with Aadhaar.
Association president S P Kranthi Kumar, in his representation said, "Due to postal delay in Aadhaar cards, we are not getting pensions. Most pensioners have not taken Aadhaar cards due to less designated photo lamination centres opened by the civil supplies department in the city and even its hard for us to get e-Aadhaar card number also." He requested to extend the deadline by three more months to get the cards. Collector Rizvi responded saying the pensioners could get their pensions with the enrolment ID numbers.
