VIJAYAWADA: Krishna district joint collector J Murali has expressed his ire against tahsildars for the delay in Pattadar-Aadhar seeding process. The district is in eighth position in Aadhar seeding due to the inefficiency of tahsildars in completing the process, even as many ground-level and district-level meetings were conducted in this regard, he blamed.
During a video conference on Aadhar seeding at the Collector’s Camp Office here Tuesday, the joint collector said that permanent Aadhar enrollment offices were set up in each mandal to speed up the seeding process, after taking the suggestions of tahsildars into account. “But then, there was poor response from the public due to the lethargic attitude of the officials.”

He told the tahsildars to issue memos to village revenue officers to speed up the process and complete Aadhar seeding by September 18. He also directed them to submit the complete record of pattadar account holders including the holder’s name, village name, Aadhaar number and other details by September
