The State Election authorities have planned to launch a mobile application by March 15 to enable voters to furnish Aadhaar numbers.
This will be part of the Election Commission’s drive to link Aadhaar numbers with electoral rolls. By March 20, the distribution of forms will commence at fair price shops, educational institutions and banks.
This month has been set apart for voters to come forward and provide their Aadhaar details.

Sandeep Saxena, Chief Electoral Officer, said booth-level officers will carry out door-to-door collection of the details and verification exercise in April.
On the second and the fourth Sundays in April, special camps will be held across the State as part of the drive.
A total of 5.5 crore voters has to be covered in the State, he pointed out.
