PUDUCHERRY: Police are on the look out for a youth who stole 15 sovereigns of gold from a house at Venkatanagar here on Friday.
Police said the youth came to the house of Krishnasamy (77) on the pretext of verifying Aadhaar card details. Krishnasamy let him in and handed over the Aadhaar card to him. As he got a call, Krishnasamy left the room.Only after the youth left the house did Krishnasamy realise the jewels were missing. He lodged a complaint.
