PANAJI: Beneficiaries of the Dayanand Social Security Scheme (DSSS) will have to submit their Aadhaar card copy and life certificates to the government to continue receiving the monthly financial assistance.
In a press release, it was stated that the Aadhaar card has to be submitted on or before June 30, 2015, while the life certificate has to be submitted by May 15, 2015, in the prescribed form (annexure-D) to the directorate of social welfare, Panaji office, for North Goa district. Beneficiaries from South Goa can submit the documents to the district welfare office, directorate of social welfare, collectorate building, Margao. The documents could also be submitted to anganwadi centre or village panchayat or block development office.
The DSSS financial assistance will immediately stop for beneficiaries who fail to submit the life certificates by the stipulated time, the press note stated.
