All the beneficiaries of old-age pension (OAP) scheme have been asked to submit their bank account details and Aadhaar details to the respective Village Administrative Officer (VAO) at the earliest.
A press release said that work is on to register the details of the beneficiaries in the portal of the social security scheme so that the amount would be credited to the beneficiary’s bank account.
Beneficiaries who do not have bank accounts are asked to contact the VAO and submit filled-in application forms for opening of new bank accounts.
