If one were to go by his actions since the Lok Sabha polls last year, tech czar and billionaire Nandan Nilekani is consciously keeping himself away from public life. He has kind of divorced his political engagement with Bengalureans, and this is more than evident from his studied silence on many issues dogging his beloved city. A career politician always pins his hope on the next opportunity, and retains his touch with voters.
