HYDERABAD: BJP state president G Kishan Reddy said the party would launch a massive protest if the government deletes the names of genuine voters from the list on the pretext of linking voter identification cards with Aadhaar cards in GHMC limits.
Speaking to media persons here Saturday, the BJP leader alleged that the government was ‘selectively’ deleting the names of voters, whom the TRS believe are opposed to the ruling party.
Condemning the State government’s recent decision to provide ‘cheap liquor’ in place of arrack, he demanded the Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao to reconsider his decision.
“KCR repeatedly says that Telangana is the richest State. But the measure would affect toddy tappers badly,” he warned.
