Every pensioner has to produce a life certificate every year by visiting the authorised pension-disbursing agency or presenting a certificate from the authority he served to the agency. This acts as proof of existence. The government has now launched digital Jeevan Pramaan Life Certificate, which is Aadhaar based. The service is operational only in some areas.
Who can benefit?
Pensioners of central government, state government or any other government organisations can benefit from this facility.
Enrolling
Pensioners can enrol by downloading the PC/Mobile application from https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in/app/download. Alternatively, they can visit the nearest Jeevan Pramaan Centre to get themselves registered.
