SHIMLA: A Spokesman of Finance Department said here today that pensioners could submit their Life Certificate and other Certificates from 1st June, 2016. He said that pensioners may download life certificate available on http:himkosh.hp.nic.in and submit the filled form in any Treasury of the district after getting it signed from a gazetted government servant.
He said that pensioners could also generate Life Certificate at NIC Centre, Treasuries or in Common Service Centre where biometric devices were available by using Jeevan Pramaan portal at (jeevanpramaan.gov.in) Life Certificate generated through it may be delivered to any Treasury of the district.
The spokesman further informed that a digital life certificate online through Jeevan Praman Portal (jeevanpramaan.gov.in) as a result of Aadhaar based authentication would be accepted as valid certificate.
He said that the pensioners who have already seeded their Aadhaar number biometrically with Treasury need not submit their Life Certificate in Treasury separately.
