Hyderabad: In a first in the country, the Smart Pulse household survey in Andhra Pradesh will be dynamic providing an opportunity to people to update their information even after the data collection process is completed in July this year. The proposed survey will have 75 parameters relating to socio-economic and academic and important data relating to individuals and households.
The data will be collected with the help of applications in tabs where the 75 questions will be asked in dropped out menus. Nearly 30,000 municipal and revenue staff will be involved in the survey to be conducted in June (20-30) and July (6-30). The main purpose of the data will be to get key information of beneficiaries to chalk out and implement various schemes. The information will be updated from time to time even after the actual survey is completed. This is in contrast to Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Telangana where similar surveys have been done but only once.
The data will be collated and called as 'people's hub'. "Aadhaar data has nine types of information relating to an individual, which is not sufficient for the government to chalk out programmes and have accurate data about beneficiaries," J Satyanaraya, IT advisor to government (e-governance), told TOI.
