HYDERABAD: Posing as a State Bank of India's employee, a fraudster duped a private employee of Rs 14,535.

The victim was identified as Das of Malkajgiri. On August 15, Das received a phone call from the fraudster who identified himself as SBI's employee.

The fraudster told Das that his savings account was not linked with Aadhaar number and collected Aadhaar card and bank account details of Das.

The accused then transferred Rs 14,535 cash from the bank account of Das to his own 'Paytm' account. Das came to know about the fraud on Thursday when he visited the bank to update his pass book.

Based on the complaint lodged by Das, Cyber Crime sleuths of Cyberabad registered a criminal case and launched a manhunt to nab the accused.
