In a step to facilitate homeless beggars in the city and treat them like normal people, the Mysuru District Administration launched a programme to distribute Aadhaar Cards to the inmates at the Beggars Rehabilitation Centre.

Assistant Commissioner C L Anand launched this novel step at the centre at Jyothinagar in city on Tuesday. The rehabilitation centre which has around 400 and odd homeless beggars will be given Aadhar cards and staffs have been appointed to carry out the work.
