Srikrishna committee on data protection starts public consultation process

The Justice Srikrishna committee drafting the data protection framework began its public consultation process with the first open house in New Delhi on Friday. 

The committee, which has been tasked with drafting the crucial legislation, will conduct similar sessions in Hyderabad, Bengaluru and Mumbai later this month and is inviting written comments from stakeholders till January end. 

The Friday meeting was chaired by Justice BN Srikrishna, former Judge, Supreme Co ..
