Sindhushree Khullar, Secretary, Planning Commission, has said that Tumkur district will soon be declared a saturated district in Aadhaar registration.
She told presspersons here on Saturday that the progress in Aadhaar registration is 100 per cent in the district.
“According to the 2011 Census, the population of Tumkur district is 26,85,000. As many as 25, 25, 814 people had enrolled for Aadhaar number in the first phase and 1,90,040 enrolled in the second phase,” she said. — Staff Correspondent
