Aadhaar Suvidha Kendra was inaugurated at Regional Office of Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) of the state capital on Tuesday. Residents can avail facilities like Aadhaar registration, correction, processing status, biometric update, black and white e-aadhaar and smart aadhar card in the centre between 10:30 am to 4pm. “The facilities of Aadhaar will be similar to that provided in Pragya Kendras functional in every block.

According to UIDAI rules, a person will have to pay Rs 15 for making any corrections in the Aadhaar card and Rs 30 for obtaining smart Aadhar card after receiving the original lengthy Aadhaar card.
Munshi highlighted that the enrollment of individuals for Aadhaar in Jharkhand is 97 percent but 83 percent in the mentioned figure have been issued the Aadhaar card.
She said these centres will help in bridging the 14 percent gap. “The gap is due to duplicate enrollment of one person and technical errors like incorrect address or name,” she said.
