“Expedite Aadhaar card linking work”

All efforts should be made to collect mobile numbers and Aadhaar numbers of all voters in the electoral roll, said Special Election Observer M.A. Siddique.
Addressing a review meeting on linking Aadhaar numbers with EPIC here on Tuesday, he said District Election Officials had collected all necessary details of 11,16,299 voters out of the total 16,57,623 voters in the district.
Concerned polling officers should take steps to collect details from the rest of the voters.
The main aim of the process was to prepare a cent per cent error-free electoral roll by linking and authentication of EPIC data of electors with Aadhaar data and improving electors’ image quality. Linking EPIC data with Aadhaar cards commenced in the district on March 3.
