DHARAMSHALA: Tibetan religious leader Dalai Lama on Monday got listed for the unique identity (UID) card.
Expressing happiness on his inclusion in the drive, also known as Aadhaar, he said that the Tibetan community in India should be aware of this drive and step forward to get themselves listed as this is very important in the present scenario.
Additional deputy commissioner Priyut Mandal said that the Dalai Lama was photographed and got his fingerprints and iris scanned.
The Dalai Lama showed keen interest in the process of the UID.
