The Andhra Pradesh Board of Intermediate Education has asked the Intermediate students to enrol their Aadhaar numbers for seeding. “Students must submit their Aadhaar numbers to the respective college Principals who in turn should upload them so that they can be included in the certificate issued by the Intermediate Board,” said M. Rajarao, RIO, Vijayawada, on Wednesday.
The RIO told the media that practical exams for students pursuing science and vocational courses would be held from February 12 to March 4. These examinations would be conducted in 184 centres; Krishna-I (urban areas) 84 centres and Krishna-II (rural areas) 100 centres. Students will write the exam in two sections (9 a.m. to 12 noon and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.). The exam will be conducted in four spells. In the MPC stream, a total of 34,441 students would appear for the exam against 13,508 in the BiPC group. In vocational courses, 965 students of first year will appear for the test against 1,477 from the second year.
The RIO said that elaborate arrangements had been made to ensure free and fair conduct of the exams. he RIO is the convenor of the DEC which has other members—Principal of Government Junior College, Movva, Ravi Kumar, Principal of Nuzvid Government Junior College P. Mallaiah Swamy and junior lecturer in math from SRR and CVR Government College G. E. Srinivasa Reddy.
