THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The State Bank of Travancore (SBT) has put in place a system which helps all their bank mitras (business correspondents) to carry out transaction for the bank’s customers who have Aadhaar-linked accounts (both Pradhan Mantri Jan-Dhan Yojana (PMJDY) account holders and others). These customers can deposit or withdraw monies (maximum of `10,000 per day) from their Aadhaar-linked accounts through any Akshay centre (bank mitras of SBT) that have entered into an arrangement with the bank. Such Akshaya centres can be identified by the co- branded board displayed on their premises.
